Restarting the game a few times worked for me. Seems like a really common issue lots of people are having. Just ran into this issue myself, ended up on this page before finding a solution, found a solution and now want to share it. Turn off / unplug any and all controllers.Fight some bugs, grab stuff. You will see a couple of other terminals along the way that you can ignore (for the purposes of getting out of the Vault). You will finally find a room with a big desk in the middle, with a terminal on it. The terminal isn't locked. Choose the option to open the escape tunnel.Then I took your advice Miyo and uninstalled all mods, deleted the save file for the game in the documents folder and restarted the game vanilla. It loaded and I got to see Nate looking in the mirror finally. I exited and re-installed all the mods and infinite loading screen again on start new game. You're stuck because the Mechanist has not lowered the ramp so you can get up to the control room. Try walking towards the Mechanist and to the left and right side.
