Comparing my SKB-100 20 ga and Akus made S&W Elite Gold (basically the same gun as the SKB 200 HR), the 25" barreled SKB-100 is lighter at 5# 14oz, but the S&W is prettier, with a nicely rounded frame, better wood, and overall nicer bluing and stock finish. The SKB-100 is my go to gun for Mearns quail in the rugged border country of Arizona ...finaly got my first sks. b grade type 56 from classic firearms. Still trying to remove the buckets of cosmoline it came packed in and a quick question on dissassemble .
